When Trevor Roberts moved from South Africa to the United States in 2002, he saw an opportunity to create something meaningful for both homeowners and local businesses.
His vision was simple: build a trusted publication that would connect homeowners with reputable home improvement professionals while helping local businesses grow through authentic community relationships.
What began as a small startup has grown into a publication that reaches more than 100,000 homeowners each month throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. Along the way, Home & Lifestyle has helped introduce thousands of homeowners to local companies they can trust while supporting the growth of businesses that have become household names in our community.
More than two decades later, Trevor’s original mission continues to guide everything we do: creating meaningful connections that strengthen our local community—one home, one business, and one relationship at a time.
